Rumour Mill-Interest in Hines and Howieson

Bournemouth are lining up a bid to sign Burnley forward Zavon Hines on loan before Thursday's deadline according to Sky Sports.

Hines has struggled to make an impression since his move from West Ham in the summer and is not even in contention for a place on the bench at the moment. The 23-year-old has made 13 appearances in the Championship for the Clarets this season but all these have been as a substitute and he is still to score his first goal for Burnley.

Eddie Howe could be tempted to release Hines on loan to his former club and give him some first team football.

It has also been reported that Liverpool and Newcastle are interested in signing highly-rated forward Cameron Howieson,. Only 17, the New Zealand U19 international has impressed in Burnley's FA Youth Cup run this season and looks to be a great prospect.

Pretty annoying that Prem clubs can sniff around and snatch away our best talent! It is going to get worse once the EPPP kicks in! How many kids make it though at these big clubs? I am sure a lot would benefit more by coming through the ranks and establishing themselves first with a club like Burnley. Wonder what would have happened to the likes of Lafferty, McCann and Jay Rod had they been snapped up by the Prem?

The trouble is they would cost more once proven and they know they can take a gamble and get them on the cheap whilst they are at that age, It is pretty annoying when we find these decent youngsters and they are snapped up by the Premier League, John Cofie is the perfect example of this!

What has Cofie done at Man Utd, (nothing) and just look at other youngsters who fail to make it at the so called big clubs, Its a joke. But back to Hines, I can only see this as a good move for the player and the two clubs
