Alex Macca's a Move to Plymouth!

Striker, Alex Macdonald has made a loan move to struggling League 2 side,Plymouth Argyle

The 21 year old will be available to play for the Pilgrims until Argyle's League Two clash with AFC Wimbledon on 6 March and will be hoping to help them move away from the relegation zone with the club currently second from bottom.

MacDonald, a Scotland Under-21 international has made just one start for the Clarets this season in the Carling Cup clash away to Cardiff City but he has also made several appearances from the bench.

This will be the third time he has gone out on loan having previously had spells at Falkirk and Inverness. It had been thought he could join his colleague, Kevin Long at Rochdale on loan but it would appear no enquiry was made by John Coleman.

Hope, hope, hope he does really well for them. A lovely little local club that I am praying stays up. Argyle are my third club after the Clarets, obviously, then Spurs because I married a Spurs supporter and lived in Spurs manor for a long time and now I live in Argyle land, well near it.

I hope he does well, but in truth I don't see him as a top half of the Championship player. I hope he can find the Division that he can shine in. The lad has had a tough year or so and so I really do wish him all the best.

Best of luck to Alex - I hope it is a good spell for him. I feel he needs to play some games - for himself. He hasnt played a lot of football. Unfortunately, from what we have seen - I dont think he has the necessary to be a success at Burnley
