Happy New Year from all at Vital Burnley!

Happy New Year to all our posters and readers

2011 ended with a bang for the Clarets. A New Year's Eve 1-0 win at home against Hull gave all Clarets fans optimism for 2012.

We enter the New Year in 7th place just three points off the 6th place play-offs spot.

There is all to play for and promotion is back on the table,

Thank you all for supporting Vital Burnley this past year. We are building up a great community so please continue to support the site and spread the word.

Happy New Year from me too. Continued thanks are due to TMP for keeping us all informed - and what about a mention of Barnsey for all the work he does on WTBM too.

Agree with both. What a strange year 2011 was! We seemed to spend most of the year depressed about events at our club, and yet we end it in 7th place. The joy of being a football supporter! Happy 2012 all!
