McCann Can Do for Burnley

The uncertainty regarding Chris McCann's future is at last over after protracted talks.

He has agreed a new two-year deal with the Clarets today.

McCann`s current contract had been due to expire later this week but he will now remain at Turf Moor until 2013.

If the reported interest from Bolton's Owen Coyle was ever true then tough titty Judas!

About time now for Cork, good man McCann

Very good news - Maybe our most important signature of the summer.
Claretdale
Great news. Echo 8c8, now for Corky.

A great result, particularly for those who believe that a close season should be for other things than "fearing the worst".

Probably just coincidental that Noblot have signed out-of-contract Swan Darren Pratley the day after McCann committed himself to the Clarets. Probably more to do with the fact that his Swan contract would have been up yesterday. But possible food for conspiracy theorists? That's *oyley's fist signing of the summer, by the way. Sturridge has been linked with various clubs, including Euro-bound Stoke. Cahill is probably not now going Arswards, but maybe to Everton if Ars sign Jagielka, as rumoured? Meanwhile, Elmander has gone to Turkey, I think, which must leave *oyley feeling a bit like a legendary stuffed turkey too!

No,one swallow does not make a 'flurry of signings' summer by end June! Delighted he has signed, so let's get Cork next that's the big test

GREZZA ???? the quality newspaper that is the Mirror reports Eddie Howe ended his contract yesterday despite it having a year to run, I didn't see his face in any of the pictures from training yesterday how realistic do we think this report is clarets?
hollinsclaret
Did you look at the Burnley Express photographs? Link in our Grezza article just put up. About 80 photos. I can't be 100% certain but he doesn't appear to be in them either.
