Just the Ticket-Going for a Burton?

Burnley will play Burton Albion in the first round of the Carling Cup on the night of Tuesday 9th August (Kick-Off 7:45 pm)

Ticket prices will be as follows:

Adults: 15

Concessions: 10

Under 16: 5

Tickets are now on sale from the Ticket Office.

It's a loss less than the train fare plus an overnight hotel I'd have to fork out for, and which sadly mean I won't be joining you.

Not sure whether the Football League set a minimum price for these ties - I know the FA do for FA Cup games. Whatever, it is about time those in charge worked out that football is an expensive business these days and not everyone can go to every match. Many clubs - including Burnley - have a number of fans who live away and the cost of travel, accomodation and food can be prohibitive on top of tickets. Come on the powers that be - wake up and reduce prices. If that means pampered players have to take a hit in their pockets....oh well.

10 tops should be what are charged for these kinda games, the only way to encourage people to see games for the first time and get the Clarets bug...
