Rumour Mill- For Seaborne, See Burnley?

Southampton defender Danny Seaborne according to speculation could be a target for both Burnley and Millwall this summer.

The tall 6ft 3' defender who can play both at left back and in the centre of the back four impressed in the Saints promotion from League 1 this season. His forte would appear to be both attacking and defending set-pieces.

It was former Saints gaffer, Alan Pardew who signed Seaborne in January 2010. The former Exeter player penned a three-and-a-half year deal for an undisclosed fee.

It would be interesting to know given the choice whether Seaborne would prefer Burnley or Millwall should he wish to move. Both clubs finished in a similar position this season with the Clarets finishing just one place and one point ahead of the Bermondsey outfit Burnley claimed 8th spot with Millwall 9th.

Seaborne is a Devonshire lad so a move up to the cold wastes of the North might not appeal to him and all his clubs so far have been on the south coast including his loan spells at non-league clubs whilst on Exeter's books.
