Clarets International-More Burnley Call-Ups!

Regular England Under 21 internationals, Chelsea's midfielder, Jack Cork and Aston Villa's striker,Nathan Delfouneso both on loan at Burnley have been called up by Stuart Pearce. The England Under 21 team play two friendly fixtures during the International break. They travel to Denmark on Thursday 24th March before playing Iceland at Deepdale on Monday 28th March.

Jay Rodriguez, who made his England Under 21 debut last month after coming on from the bench in the game against Italy has to be content with back-up this time. A number of England Under 21 players who missed out with injury and unavailability last time are now back in contention having been named in the 31 man squad.

Alex MacDonald, currently on loan to Inverness Caledonian Thistle has also been included in the Scotland Under 21 sqaud. They play a challenge match away to Belgium on Thursday 24th March. Alex won his first cap at this level back in November last year.

This news follows the earlier Vital Burnley article confirming David Edgar had also been called-up by Canada.
