Oh Eck, Richard is on another loan Gigg

Richard Eckersley has joined Bury on loan until the end of the season and could be in the Shakers starting eleven to face Torquay at Gigg Lane on Tuesday night.

Bury have a problem in defence with two of their back four, Efe Sodje and Phil Picken having picked up their 10th yellow cards of season in Saturday's goalless draw at Rotherham. Both now face a two-match ban.

The 22 year old former Manchester United full back has made just one appearance for the Clarets this season starting a Carling Cup tie at Morecambe in August.

He played 12 games in a loan spell with Bradford City in League Two earlier this term and also played for Plymouth Argyle on loan towards the end of last season.

All we can do with him really, never going to displace Mears unless he gets injured/suspended and even then Duff at right back might be the better bet with Bikey/Carlisle in centre of defence
