Vital Burnley Prediction League Update-Feb 11
Clarets Dale provides his regular Vital Burnley Prediction League update and provides the latest table up to the end of Febraury 2011.

As March begins with renewed hope of a Play-Off berth for the Clarets, we provide a prediction league update below. Where do your end of season ambitions lie?
We have a new leader at the top - An excellent month for Turfmanphil sees him surge past the now stuttering former leaders, Crosspool and Barnsey. Turfman scored maximum points in 3 out of 10 games since the turn of the year.
It was a good month for scoring for most. The victory against Norwich was an especially fruitful result with over 40% of the predictions achieving maximum points. I cannot recall a game with such a high success rate previously.
A special mention must go to Brompton who has achieved maximum points in each of the latest 4 games. Claretfromaway should also get a mention at this time for collecting 8 points from the same 4 games which puts both well into the chasing pack for the title. Canada claret has scored well since the turn of the year, averaging more than a point a game.
Finally, I need to mention our early leader, RickersTwickers. Unfortunately for Rickers since the early days of 12 points from the first 10 games, he has only collected a further 5 in the remaining 22. This included 9 consecutive 'no scores` since the turn of the year until Corky`s late header at Deepdale earned him a point.
A number of people can still win this league!

You don't win anything in March Dale, though it looks like I don't win anything any other time either ! It does look as if Eddie Howe's arrival and an upturn for the Clarets has co-incided with a dip in my own form as I am doing a bit of a Blackpool. I'm very ashamed that I've got the most scores wrong this season though at least CP hasn't managed to predict a correct score...yet.

I suspected the slide would start, I know I've got one maximum from the next three games, but two total cock ups :-) After Saturday I may go back to the strategy that won us promotion - always predicting a defeat ;-)
