Chris McCann-Club Announcement Early Next Week

Chris McCann-Club Announcement Early Next Week

Darren Bentley has just announced on Clarets Player at the Watford game that a club announcement will be made concerning Chris McCann early next week.

Burnley forums have been speculating about McCann and indeed Vital Burnley have already taken down certain threads in the forum until the true situation has been clarified.

It sounds like a positive Burnley FC statement will be made on Monday dispelling some of the myths.

Let's just hope this is nipped in the bud quickly. Please could I ask if anybody responds to this article they are respectful of the situation until the club make their announcement and so don't rehash any of the rumours. Otherwise I will have to censor I am afraid

Spot on TMP and PD. All of us should just want to see Chris McCann restored as soon as possible to the Burnley lineup.

The club have released a statement. Chris has undergone an operation to remove some fluid from his brain after he complained of constant migraines. They say its a minor operation that only needed a one night stay in hospital and he should be back in training in two weeks Here is the link http://www.burnleyfootballclub.com/page/LatestHeadlines/0,,10413~2291238,00.html. I hope Chris recovers quickly and wish him all the best. He's certainly having a bad time of it and its a shame as he's one of our best players.
