Big Mac Leaves Yet Again & Gets County Loan!

Clarets midfielder Kevin McDonald has left Turf Moor yet again for a loan spell.

This time he has joined struggling League 1 club. Notts County on loan until the end of the season.

The 22-year-old recently spent three months on loan with npower Championship side Scunthorpe and on his return gave the impression he was ready to settle down and fight for his first team place.

Brian Laws though was still in charge at the time so perhaps Eddie Howe has other plans.

Howe said:

'Notts County approached us wanting to take Kevin and we think it will benefit him to get games at a good level.

'Hopefully he will go there and do well and we will be following his progress very closely.

'Notts County are a good club, well managed by Paul Ince, so it's a good opportunity for Kevin to go there and hopefully get some match time under his belt.'

What do Clarets fans think about this move? Is Big Mac ever going to breakthrough into the first team again or is the writing on the wall? Give us your thoughts beneath this article.

Guess with Bartley arriving, Big Mac will find it even harder to get a look in so a loan makes sense, Can't see him staying somehow in the Summer

Wasted talent. Three consecutive managers can't be wrong...

Aye, The Bad apple ..... Think you will find its either 4 or 5 managers already WTBM. Ince will either be 5 or 6 ( not sure if Adkins was still at Scunny when MacD was there or just Barraclough ) Personally .... Let him go. He's a gem of a player but seems to have a really bad attitude. You cannot have a bad apple among another 20 or 30 odd players. Too disruptive. I would love to see him in a Clarets Shirt but he is not a player who sits on the bench or can take a bollocking. he cannot handle it, he's too young, he's attitude has proved this. He's the type of person we need in midfield but not the personality. Time to move on Kev. Sorry

Dont think we will see him in our claret shirt again. Shame - He seems to have the ability, but something is sadly wrong
