'If It's Football, It's Vital'

The Beast is Going Nowhere!

'The Beast' has given all Clarets something to cheer about by withdrawing his transfer request.

Brian Jensen asked to leave last month after failing to regain his place to Lee Grant. He was dropped following the game at home to Reading which the Clarets lost 4-1 back in October.

He has however decided to stay following talks with new gaffer Eddie Howe.

'We`ve had a good chat with Brian and talked about a lot of things,' said Howe.

'Brian is frustrated because he wants to play but his attitude is that he is going to get his head down, really knuckle down in training and try and earn his place back.

'He is focused now on Burnley and, for the short term at least, Brian will stay.'

Great news!!

Nice one,Brian! :-)

Not a shock really, I am not sure that big money wage offers were flooding in. Don't get me wrong I am glad he is staying as I am not sure there is that much between the two we have.

Think that's right Vin. I don't think there is much between them either. One is a better shot-stopper, the other a slightly calmer performer. Wouldn't be surprised to see Beast get a game this Saturday...and to leave at the end of the season.

Good news all round. Still think Beast is the better keeper!

Thank goodness, it wouldn't be the same without Beast! Hope he is back where he belongs on Saturday.
