Rumour Mill- We have a Manset for Turf Moor?

According to Sky Sports Hereford United striker Mathieu Manset is being tracked by numerous clubs with Burnley being amongst them.

The 21-year-old French forward has scored 10 goals this season in all competitions
Manset though is out of contract the summer and would only attain a minimal fee in compensation as the former Le Havre front man only joined the League Two side in 2009.

Burnley though if the speculation is true face competition from Championship rivals Crystal Palace and League 1 clubs Southampton, Charlton and Bournemouth.

Manset was born in Metz and started his career in his native France with Le Havre AC.

He was released by Le Havre in the summer of 2009 and after a successful trial joined Hereford.

I think the defence needs sorting first before any other part of the team, and just on SSN we have made an official approach for Eddie Howe.

Are we all not missing something here? If we have made an approach for Howe, would it not make sense that we are linked with players that Bournemouth were/are interested in?

I think Howe is a good choice. The player linked above, IMHO, is not. Paper talk, I'm sure.

So not the next Jean Louis Valois then WTBM?? Bring on Eddie Howe - the more I read the more I think he looks the part especially compared to some of the more established "journeymen" Managers we have been linked with.

Let's get Howe here and let him get our defensive unit straightened around. We presently have sufficient talent up front but we need a few more clean sheets in the for and against column
