Is the FA Cup so uninteresting?
Mike Mada
This sort of fixture is as far as I am concerned and I would think a lot of others. Port Vale brought 2,500 on Saturday, which means roughly only 7,000 of our lot bothered to turn up. They are mind-numbingly boring, give me a Blackburn,Bolton or Man U anyday in this competition

Call me old fashioned - but I'd rather progress

I want us to progress too but by beating a decent side in the Prem ,we were after all playing them all last season and should not be scared of facing them now sooner rather than later. There is absolutely no satiisfaction whatsoever in beating a minnow, it does nothing to help the club financially and the atmosphere is *****e!!

Give me a Blackburn,Bolton or Man U anyday in this competition tmp and probably we would get beat, at least this way we are virtually guaranteed going through to the last 16 and who knows a few more upsets and another couple of decent draws would see us at Wembley, yeah a trip to Blackburn, Bolton or Man Utd would be great because we are prolific away from home aren't we having beaten the mighty Barnsley on the road, no disrespect to Burton but this is as good as a bye to the next round, as I have posted elsewhere if we cannot beat Burton then we don't deserve to progress.

In a previous thread I said I would not be going as I am not wasting swapping a shift or my leave for this game. I am going to have to swallow my words as I am now taking leave that weekend but for a different reason, but might as well take the game in.
