Another January Fixture-Portsmouth Away

Burnley's hectic January schedule of fixtures has not been made any easier with news that our game against Portsmouth at Fratton Park will now be played on the night of Tuesday 25th January (Kick-Off 7:45 pm).

This game was originally scheduled to be played on Saturday 4th December but was postponed due to snow and ice in Hampshire. All tickets issued for the postponed fixture will remain valid for the re-arranged date

This means we will have had played seven games by the end of the month with another match to follow on 1st Febraury

Sheffield United (H), Reading (A) and Port Vale (H-FAC3) have already been played but to also come this month will now be:

QPR (H)
Scunthorpe (A)
Portsmouth (A)
Burton Albion (H-FAC4)

A couple of days after the FA Cup clash we will also be travelling to the Keepmoat to play Doncaster Rovers!

Wasn't going to this one anyway and certainly not now it's a night match!

As I feared, I won't now be able to use the Pompey ticket I have bought, as there's no public transport back to my home, and I can't overnight it on that date. Anyone know if this is grounds for getting a refund?

Suggest you have a quiet word with Darren B and see what happens. If he says no get a bit louder!! ;-)

Raised this subject myself with the ticket office last week CP and they confirmed that refunds can be issued to those unable to attend any re-arranged fixture. Not quite sure of the process for doing that but you should certainly be able to get your money back. I have two tickets from the three to return so will follow up with the club tomorrow - will let you know how I get on.

I wont be going either.
