Vital Burnley End-of-Year Prediction League Update

The large number of winless games, particularly those last two poor results on the Turf against Leeds United and Scunthorpe United, proved very difficult to predict with most people struggling to pick up regular points; The latest update is provided in the table below as of 31st December 2010.

The Sheffield Clarets contingent are continuing to do well with three of the top four occupied by 'members` of this group. It is a shame the pie and chips during half time of the Reading game wasn`t as succesful!!!

The other big movers since the previous update were the dads. Both palsdad and dad-of-dale scored well to move up several positions.

Good Luck to all of those predicting. The next update will be early in February.

Hopefully by this time we will have a new manager and their will generally be a more positive vibe around the club. A run of victories on the pitch should see a lot more points in the prediction table.

Happy New Year to all!

Steady as she goes. Coming through on the outside. Can't think of anymore, but well pleased with moving from 17th to 8th. Nicely positioned just outside the play offs. Reminds me of someone else who hopefully are about to embark on a storming finish :-)

I'm positioned nicely under the radar to come in on the rails... ;-)

After an early season run of form I have tailed off a bit. Whilst my predictions haven't been disastrous they are not what I would have wanted. Consequently I have asked myself to step down from predictions but, in a bizarre twist of events, have immediately re-appointed myself in a caretaker capacity.
