'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Just the Ticket- Barnsley on Boxing Day!

It will soon be Boxing Day football again for Clarets fans and this time Burnley travel to Oakwell to play Barnsley. The ground has not exactly been kind to the Clarets over the years and we still await our first win there since the 1930s. This is probably also the wrong time to try and break that taboo too since the festive season has traditionally been a poor time for Burnley with many a slump over this period. So this time let's kill two turkeys with one stone and come away with three points.

The match on Saturday, December 26 kicks off at 3pm

Tickets go on general sale, by Postal Application only, on Monday, November 29 and the club have been allocated an initial 1,996 tickets for this game.

Prices are as follows:

Adults: 25
Over 60s / U18s: 13
U12: 7 (U12 tickets must be purchased in advance with an adult/over 60s ticket).

Ambulant disabled tickets are also available at the same prices

Tickets are also available from the above date for Foundation Members. Please call 01282 700023

Sent off for my tickets. Why isn't there a season ticket holder period for buying tickets on this game? Not that I mind but just find it odd.

I think I may have to take the Nurse to this one given its boxing day and minivr can't get out of a boxing day lunch with the in-laws.....lunch with the in-laws ....I ask you what sort of commitment is that!!!!!!

Ordered my tickets via the Foundation today. Members are allowed to order a maximum of two per person and it sounds like tickets are selling well. I'm a great fan of Boxing Day football and would hate a 'winter break' to be introduced that would wipe out one of the most traditional football days in the calendar.
