Wes Extends Stay at Stockport

Clarets 20 year old striker, Wes Fletcher currently on loan at Stockport County will have his stay at Edgeley Park extended by a month.

Fletcher scored a stunning match-winning goal against high-flying Bury at Gigg Lane on Saturday crowning an impressive stay at the League 2 club to date.County went in front when Anthony Pulis crossed for Fletcher to shoot low into the corner from 12 yards out. The score remained 1-0 allowing Stockport to pull away from the relegation zone and move up to 16th place. This was Fletcher's first goal for Stockport but he has been an integral part of the team and done well in all his five games for the club.

Agree TMP - Was a superb little finish on Saturday.
Claretdale
Me too. Another young player who will benefit from a run of first team games. All being well he will return to Turf Moor buoyed with confidence and ready to challenge for a place in the line-up.

Wont do him any harm to get lumps kicked out of him by a few robust centre halfs either.
Claretdale
He will be worth a place in most teams at that level.
Grimsby Claret
A great goal, the youth set up has come on leaps and bounds in the last couple of years, long may it continue.
