06/07 Fixtures Announced

The Football Association has announced the full list of fixtures for league matches to be played in the 06/07 season.

The Championship season kicks off on August 5, with the Clarets at home to QPR, who were beaten by an Andy Gray goal at Turf Moor in the latter weeks of the season.

The first month of the season sees the Clarets face Leicester City, Crystal Palace, and Wolves, in a difficult looking August for Steve Cotterill's side.

The home tie with Leeds is scheduled for November 28, with the corresponding fixture on April 14.

The home game with Preston is on October 28, while the Deepdale fixture takes place on March 17.

The season closer will be a home tie with Coventry on May 6.

For a full list of fixtures, see the official Clarets site.

What do you think of the fixtures list? Difficult August, possible victory run? Post your comments, and get the discussion going in our forums.

The run in could be a nightmare for us. I hope we aren't struggling for points when we get to it. On paper a nice opening month but if we dont get off to a good start I may be worried. It has just brought home to me though the number of very big clubs in this division this year. It's gonna be tough.
