Wes Plays but Its a Long Walk for Kevin!

Kevin McDonald, Wes Fletcher and Kevin Long were sent out on loan this week to Scunthorpe, Stockport and Accrington Stanley respectively.

Only two of the three made their debut and only Wes Fletcher played the full 90 minutes helping Stockport win 2-1 at home to Barnet. He was not on the scoresheet though!

It was grim news for Kevin Long who was shown a straight red and will now miss the next three games for Stanley. Accington also suffered a home defeat going down 2-3 to Rotherham. Long was sent off for violent conduct with the match just 16 minutes old.

Kevin McDonald was understood to have picked up an injury and was not named in The Iron's eighteen and it was a bad day too for Scunthorpe who went down 3-1 at home to Doncaster Rovers.

Long is only on an initial one month loan so it will interesting to see what happens now and whether the loan is extended.

A shame for Long, Maybe an early learning curve for him, all part and part and parcel of growing up, experience for him.

Be interesting to see what he did on the FL show. Maybe just over enthusiasm ( I hope)
