Gifton in Demand

Gifton in Demand

Burnley striker Gifton Noel-Williams has attracted the interest of 'eight or nine clubs', according to the player's agent.

The player has been on the transfer list since the end of the season, and it now looks like the ball is finally rolling for his transfer away from Turf Moor.

The former Watford and Stoke man is now set to meet his agent Gary Mellor, to discuss his next move.

Mellor said: 'There has been quite a bit of interest, probably about eight or nine clubs,'

'Brighton and Millwall have obviously been interested in him from before and there's (Nottingham) Forest and also Leicester from the Championship.

'I'm going to run a few things by him and see what he wants to do because it doesn't look like he is in Burnley's plans.'

It is questionable as to whether the transfer will involve a fee for the Clarets, but it would trim the wage bill, with manager Steve Cotterill looking to bolster his squad for next season.

Good luck to him. He hasn't had the best time at Turf Moor, and it seems his transfer would be mutually beneficial.

Leicester city would be a great move for him, but it looks like he may go to either brighton or forest

Gifton might be a good player . Unfortunately ge could not adapt at Turf Moor . Moving to another club was very necessary . We wish him well.
