The Clarets face League 2 Morecambe at the new Globe Arena on Tuesday, August 24 (7:45 pm Kick-Off)in their Carling Cup second round tie.

Burnley had the luxury of a bye in the first round but the second round draw made this week gave the Clarets quite a nice local tie

Tickets will go on sale to season ticket holders and members from Tuesday next week providing they arrive in time

General sale starts on Friday, with 1,400 terrace tickets and 400 seats allocated to Burnley fans.

Seats cost 16 for adults, 13 for concessions and 7 for juniors.

Terrace tickets cost 15 for adults, 12 for concessions and 6 for juniors.

Might be tempted to go to this since I will already be up North. Tick off another ground

You'd have thought there'd be more than 1 difference between the terrace and the stand?! Can't decide where to go! Maybe the terrace "for old time's sake"? Hopefully we can get a win, give some "fringe" players a full game, and start another cup run?

Love the line that tickets will go on sale...if they arrive in time. Tremendous !!

Is my birthday next Tuesday and I'm hoping I will be able to get to this game now. Splendid - and with a trip planned to Swansea next week too that will be two new grounds ticked off in the first three of weeks of the season. Normally aim for about five or six a year so that will be a real bonus in these times of austerity.
