Want Your Daughter to Play Footy?

Burnley Football Club's Girls and Ladies Under 10s are on the lookout for new players ahead of the side's first League season.

The girls will be taking part in a local Lancashire league, which looks likely to include teams such as Wigan Athletic, Bolton Wanderers and Preston North End.

Girls who are currently in school Years 3 and 4 ( Years 4 and 5 after the summer holidays) will be eligible to play for the Under 10s, but we may accept girls from the year below.

Training takes place on Wednesday evenings at 6pm on the playing fields at Hameldon High School (formerly Ivy Bank), so why don't you bring your child along to one of our sessions?

If you are interested or want more information please give team manager Martyn Robinson a call on 07702 873084 or email:

I nearly made the mistake of saying Martyn was after girls there! ;-)
