Vital Burnley Launch 2010-11 Prediction League

The Vital Burnley Prediction League is back for another season so sign-up for 2010-11,have some fun and maybe even win some money!

Thanks go to Claret Dale who will again be running our Prediction League although he tells me he is going to change the format this season so watch this space!

Something that won't change though is the prize money! The country might be in the grip of savage Government cuts at the moment but we won't be such tight gits so if you win at the end of the season, 50 will be winging your way!

The runner-up will also get 25 and third-place a tenner just like last season.

If you want to play please register before we kick-off the season against Nottingham Forest at Turf Moor on Saturday 7th August.

Once again you will have to play a minumum of 50% of our 2010-11 League Fixtures to qualify for any prize-money.

How do you register? Simply go to this thread in our Vital Burnley Matchday forum and put your name down to play:

Sign up in the forum people - It would be good to know how many entrants we are likely to have.

I'd join Dale - though I've never sussed out how to contribute to the forums. There doesn't seem to be a reply or submit button? I did attempt to do it last year but failed somehow ?

Cuban it sounds like you have not signed into the forum, you cannot reply unless your signed in. it is the same as your username and password on the front page.

It could be what 8c8 says Cuban, Have you signed in again when you go onto the forum page? For all those who dont know, Cuban was a front runner in the Sheffield Clarets 08/09 prediction league - He could be another Sheffieldite challenging for the top spot if he enters ( I think I was the only Sheffield Claret not to get anywhere near the top!).

I wonder whether there are others, like Cuban, who would join in forum debates, if they knew how? Maybe we should run a front page story explaining this? Anyway, here's a bet on the side. Last year I said anyone predicting a 3-1 defeat in every game would have won... and I was right!!! This year, I predict that anyone predicting a 2-1 win in every game will come 5th. (Plus of course, get into the playoffs and win at Wembley.)
