Far East Tour Changes

Far East Tour Changes

The Clarets have been unable to organise a game in Bali,Indonesia as part of their Far East tour organised in conjunction with their new Shirt Sponsors, Fun88.

They will now instead just visit Singapore and play two friendly games out there on either Wednesday 21st July or Thursday 22nd and Saturday 24th July with both kick-offs 7:30pm local time.

The tour of Singapore will now start on Saturday 17th July with the Clarets returning on the 25th/26th July.

Further announcements:Clarets' chief executive Paul Fletcher is in Asia finalising the details of the eight-day trip, which could see Brian Laws' squad play three games, culminating in an exhibition match against an Asian Games XI, playing for the FIS Asian Cup, named after tour sponsor Freight Investor Solutions.Firm details of the three games have yet to be ratified by the English and Singapore FA. But provisionally, the opening two are to be played against Singapore S League' teams, followed by the FIS Asian Cup clash at the Jalan Besar Stadium.
