Certainly seems to be a local trend going on here?

My thoughts excatly apart from of course the Far East jolly! I assume we will get the traditional Accy game added to that list too and of course with the Turf Moor pitch getting a new state-of-the-art look we can probably only expect one home game again ie Stoke

You never know we may get a chance to support the younger lads abroad......

Have been to Oldham a few times but a couple of trips that stick in my mind are a Boxing Day visit many years ago to see Manchester United take on The Latics. I recall Ansdell Claret's then missus over-ruled his attendance plans and he missed a nine goals classic as United won 6-3. This subject rarely comes up in our conversations nowadays, unless it is over a Boxing Day meat and potato or someone mentions Oldham Athletic. An earlier visit, in the mid-seventies, was to see Oldham take on Fulham. Those who wish to loiter in the magazine aisle at their local supermarket can read about that visit in this month's Four-Four-Two where my Boundary Park recollections have garnered the Star Letter award !

Nice one RT I shall look out for that, do you know the issue number?

Think it could be 191 8c8 - World Cup issue.
