It's a Bury Friendly Gigg for Burnley!

The club have announced another friendly as part of our pre-season preparations.

Burnley face a short trip down the road to play Bury at Gigg Lane on Saturday 10th July (Kick-Off 3pm)

As previously announced four days later the Clarets will also be going on a training tour to Singapore and Bali for ten days with the intention of playing three friendly games out in the Far East before returning to the UK.

The Clarets will then play Stoke City in a pre-season friendly at Turf Moor on Saturday 31st July.

Wonder if that means the traditional pre-season friendly against Accy wont happen this summer? Doubt it somehow unless they have fallen out over the pitch problems regarding our Reserve games at the Crown Ground this season

Am sure we will play Accy - I have never been to one but believe they are a good day.

Maybe the Reserves will be playing at Gigg Lane? shame Bury just missed getting into the play-offs it would have been great for them and Rochdale to get promotion.
