You Can Watch the Spurs Game Live on...ESPN

Tottenham Hotspur secured 4th place after beating Manchester City 1-0 at Eastlands last night.

The pressure is therefore off when they visit Turf Moor for the last game of the season on Sunday 9th May.

Spurs however will be keen to finish in 3rd spot if they can, above their local North London rivals, Arsenal.

If they beat the Clarets and Arsenal lose to Fulham at the Emirates on Sunday they will leap frog the Gunners and finish third in the Barclays Premier League.

The Clarets in comparison are already relegated although there is still a financial incentive to win.

Should Liverpool defeat Hull at the KC Stadium this Sunday and we defeat Spurs, we will go above Hull and reap an additional 800,000 or so for finishing third from bottom.

ESPN were probably hoping there was more to play for and that Spurs would still need the three points to finish 4th.

Nevertheless they will now be televising the game live and for once there will be no change to the fixture date or kick-off time which remains at 4pm.

We have certainly had a fair share of televised games over the last 2 seasons!

While this may be great in Burnley - try finding a pub in London that will show the game when Man U/Chelsea are playing the title decider. Bllcks.

Couch ! Another mention for Lyme Regis ! When I saw the strength of Tottenham's substitutes last night I thought their starting XI would have a decent chance of beating City. Think our only hope is that they have a few days on the pop before Sunday - though not sure 'Arry would be too 'appy if that happened.

There is more chance of tmp being happy with BFC than there is of us winning!

Foxtel in Australia have shown every Burnley game live this season but I thought we might miss out on Sunday as all the games have to be played at the same time on the same day for the final game. However, with no relegation issues and no real drama at the top with regard to Europe they have decided that Burnley v Spurs will be one of their five live games. It's nice then to say that I've seen every game live this year and I've enjoyed it by and large. Luckily Foxtel have started showing more and more Championship games as well so we should get a fair few next year and the rest will be via the Internet. Had a great couple of years and looking forward to next season. When do the fixtures come out?
