Vital Burnley's Rumour Mill Returneth!

Vital Burnley's Rumour Mill Returneth!

The 2009-10 season is coming to a close and it has been a frustrating and disappointing one for the Clarets with our first season in the Premier League ending in relegation back down to the Championship.

Never mind time to cheer up, the World Cup will soon be starting to take our minds off things and of course the summer transfer window will also soon be upon us.

Already rumours abound concerning our targets and potential transfers.

So what will our squad look like by the start of the 2010-11 season as we plan our instant return to the top flight?

Many Clarets fans find the speculation of who might be coming to the club and who might be leaving fascinating and great fun to discuss and debate

Vital Burnley therefore provide two convenient ways of keeping abreast of all the rumours and gossip :

1. If a rumour is reported in the media, we will produce an article on our front page under the 'Rumour Mill' title and try and inform you as soon as possible. We are often one of the first of the independent, unofficial Clarets websites to bring you such news.

2. We also have a dedicated, special forum called 'Rumour Mill' where the above articles can be discussed and where you can also post any of your own rumours and gossip that you have picked up in the pubs & clubs or from whatever source. This has now been reopened for the summer.

Here is the direct link to our Rumour Mill forum:

Come & enjoy the fun and tell us what you think about the rumoured transfers into and out of the club.

Have to say I am getting excited about new players coming into the club soon. I think in many ways a new fresh squad with some of the tired old faces leaving could be just the boost we need. We have to flush out the Coyle factor in my opinion and try and forget it. New players will help that significantly and we can all start affesh with no hidden agendas

I both love and hate the 'rumour mill' circus in the summer. I get excited at the prospect of new faces and those we are being linked with, but then get frustrated when none are coming off. Always seems that they normally come in a flurry!

Well I am hoping this time, since we are going down stronger (need to see a doctor about my cough!) we will be in the driving seat for once and will be able to more easily attract the players we want.

Agree with that tmp, got to move on and let the current manager (?) build his own team. Not sure about there being no hidden agendas concerning the manager though.

Hope we do get the right players
