Enough to say it was a disaster when I realised on Thursday as I have overseas friends who were due to go to the game on the Saturday, as they fly back on the Sunday. They will now miss it.......on second thoughts the last game they went to was the Leeds friendly at the start of the season maybe its a good thing....????

Bit of a pain for me also. I have a wedding in Whitby on the Friday and was due to go straight from there on the Saturday. Will have to decide now whether to stay on in Whitby or head back to Sheffield.

Am hoping the Birmingham game isn't moved too- booking my train ticket tomorrow on the assumption that I can get hold of a ticket for the game.

Nightmare...cannot make Liverpool or Tottenham now.

If anyone needs to trade in their tickets for Liverpool, let me know as I have a couple of friends who are over that weekend and would love it f they can come to the game. Cheers

Three days after an away match in Madrid is a great time to be playing Liverpool though. After today's 0-0 draw with Fulham, and with fourth place looking a slimmer possibility, this fixture might not be so daunting as it looks on paper.

When I lived in Sheffield dale, we used to have fishing trips from my local pub to Whitby regularly. That North Sea can be a real beauty. I'll be up for this one with a scouse mate, he's alright though, not his fault really. You've got a good point there cuban, and Torres might still be having exploratory work on his knee as well.

I can't really complain about moving games. We had booked flights to the UK before the Premier league fixtures came out only to find we were due to arrive on the Wednesday after the Tuesday night game against Man Utd. I contacted the airline to change the flight but found it couldn't be done without losing all our money. Then the game was changed to Wednesday due to man U playing on the previous Sunday. We arrived at Manchester airport, drove to the ground, picked up the tickets and the rest as they say is history. Would have missed a magical night of Clarets history.

Hope moving it to Sunday means an extra 100K or so for the club.?

Why you think the GC?
