Eckersley Gets Pilgrims Loan Extension

Plymouth Argyle have extended the loan deal of Clarets full-back Richard Eckersley until the end of the season.

He originally joined the Pilgrims on a month's loan in early March.

Eckersley has made just four appearances for the Pilgrims and played on both the right and left of the defence. His short time there has been plagued with injuries.

He originally had a groin strain and then limped off in Plymouth's 2-1 defeat away to Scunthorpe United last month and returned to Turf Moor on crutches for medical assessment. There were fears he might have been out of action for four weeks but the injury was not as bad as first feared and he returned to Home Park.

I wonder if he will be one we will retain should we get relegated?

Seems injury prone to me.

I hope you survive in the Premier, and that if you get beaten on Saturday that all the teams around you do so alswell.

Thanks Buzz, it is nice that you and many impartial fans wish us well, we must be doing something right, only wish it was reflected in the results.
