This is the first deal that has attracted international interest and of course our promotion to the Premier League has helped increase awareness and appeal of Burnley FC.

It is by far the biggest shirt sponsorship deal that Burnley FC have been involved with.

Both our home and away shirts will have Fun88 emblazoned on them for at least the next two seasons.

Burnley Chairman Barry Kilby told the official website:

"We are delighted and proud to have secured Fun88 as our shirt sponsors for the 2010/11 and 2011/12 seasons.

"This multi-million-pound deal is clear evidence of the global appeal of Burnley Football Club as a result of our Premier League status.

"We had discussions with many top international companies, expressing an interest in getting involved with the club.

"But we feel the special relationship we have enjoyed and established with Fun88 will be one that is hugely beneficial to both parties.

"We look forward immensely to working with them on several exciting ventures over the next two years."

I agree with gibo. No better example than the b**tards shirts. They look turd with that 24 rubbish on them. Mind you they look turd with that rubbish on the left breast as well. Does anybody know how much this deal is worth?

Multi-million pound deal! Do they know that we are going down?

This can only be good news, and its good the club got a two year deal now. If the picture is the logo it woouldn't look that bad in sky blue on front of the shirt. Bit like the Cooke logo now.
18/02/2010 20:04:00
I suppose the money is the important thing but I can't see it looking too good on the front, unlike the Cooke logo which is nice. The main thing is that we have got rid of Errea - their 'styling' was awful, especially before we told them how to make the retro shirts last year. The shorts that the team are wearing are really nasty - they seem to cling in all the wrong places and are very unflattering - Get rid of them!

Hard to follow that ozjean , I'll take your word on the shorts ! Got my doubts about the look of this logo on the shirts, but if the financial deal is as good as it sounds then it's got to be good. Is it anything to do with having fun with 2 fat ladies ?

As I have already posted in a forum on this site, I think it stands for F U Notlobbers... that's as in Forget Useless Notlobbers. Haven't worked out the 88 bit though. Any ideas? Maybe diagrams of them going round in small circles and getting nowehere? Then again it might be Fantastic Up North.

I am a bit miffed at them pinching my two fat ladies but sounds like a good deal :-) am I right in remembering seeing some snooker players with this logo on their waistcoats?
