Clarets Hope It's April Fools for Rovers Reserves

The Clarets` home reserve-team derby against Blackburn Rovers will be played on Thursday, 1st April.

The Barclays Premier Reserve League North fixture at Accrington Stanley FC's Crown Ground kicks off at 7pm.

The new date means the derby rivals will play three times in a week.

Turf Moor hosts the Premier League clash between the two clubs on Sunday, 28th March before the reserves meet for the first time at Leigh Sports Village on Monday, 29th March.

If anybody is going to the Reserve games, would they be willing to write a match return afterwards? Let me know if so

I'm with TMP on this - if I was nearer I'd certainly go to both these games. Think they could be a bit lively coming so soon after the main event.

As much as I would like to go I am working and I prefer to save the favours of shift swaps etc for if I am working a home game, so I won't be at this one.
