I wasn't going to go to this match but I am torn now. Might not be too bad being an afternoon match. No decent pubs round the ground though, not ideal for parking and it's murder getting a taxi back after game

We parked near the ground and had a drink in a holiday inn place ( I think). Have done it both times I have been down. About a 10 min walk from the ground. I wont be going to this one though - Its free to watch online and it will be unable to eclipse my last visit - Thank You Pato, Thank you Thommo. What a night!

You have a point Dale.last time went to a great pub but a couple of miles from ground (taxi in) called The Swan in Three Mile Cross. After the match and what a night struggled to get a taxi back to B&B. Finally managed to get the bouncers on the Hotel at the Mad to let me in so I could sort out a taxi back and have a drink in the home bar while it turned up

When I went there for the Play-Off semi the bouncers wouldn't let me in to that Hotel to use the facilities so you did well to get in TMP. Short trip down the M4 for me so I'll be going to this one - have been to every FA cup game we've had this season so am clearly on a roll. Who remembers the game being postponed at 2.55pm a couple of years back ?

I got the impression RT they took pity on me when I just said i wanted to ask at the desk for a taxi. Got in eventually and then the bloke in the foyer said oh dont worry just go in the home bar for a drink till it arrives and you will be fine, they are a friendly bunch. They were too,had some good banter with Royals fans despite having just knocked em out the Play-Offs

Just found out today that I can get a ticket for the game - but in the Reading stand. Better that than nothing!

Pretty sure the away end won't be sold out H/C so even if you pay on the day, which costs a chunk more, you should be ok to sit with the Clarets.
