'If It's Football, It's Vital'

It is Reading or Liverpool away in the FA Cup

The E.ON draw on ITV was made today from Wembley for the FA Cup Fourth Round with the Clarets in the hat of course after defeating MK Dons at the stadium: mk yesterday in the third round proper.

Former Chelsea captain, Paul Elliott MBE drew the home teams and comedian Frank Skinner the away teams. We were the fourth ball (Number 8)to be drawn out of the pot and we will now play either Reading or Liverpool away

Reading drew with Liverpool 1:1 at the Madejski Stadium on Saturday in the FA Cup third round and replay at Anfield on the night of Wednesday 13th January.

The 4th round ties will be played on either Saturday 23rd January this month or Sunday the day after and as soon as we know the full details of the fixture Vital Burnley will bring you updated news on this thread.

Could have been better, don't think I'll bother going to either of those

Never been to Anfield but if they get through their replay I might be tempted to tick another ground off.

Last season I would Have been pleased with liverpool, money for the club etc, this season a bit disapointed
Grimsby Claret
Didn't get a ticket first time round so may try, that applies to Reading or Liverpool! Didnt get a ticket for the play off at Reading and this season missed out on a Liverpool ticket!!!!!!

I may go Liverpool again - but wouldnt bother with Reading. Agree with Grimsby, last season would have been delighted with Liverpool away, this season - not so much.

Same as vin for me - missed PO SF2 and was at a wedding this season for league trip to Anfield. Lpool for me please - win lose or draw, doesn't matter. The league is more important than ever this season. Doubt I'd bother to go to Reading - I see Cardiff are at home that round if they get through. Might box tick instead. (Which may mean a visit to Aldershot?!)

Have always fancied doing one of those BBC type arrangements where you pick a team at the start and follow it, or whoever beats them, until they end up walking down Wembley Way in May. Mind you, it would be a bit weird attending FA Cup Qualifying games in August. Think I'll give it a miss - stupid idea. Then again....

Monday moan.... I wanted Bolton in the cup or Southampton away. What did we get blinking Liverpool away or Reading typical.

Thats the 1 draw I didn't want. Humph What a bloody start to 2010, one of the worse draws we would of got and could be losing the best manager we have had in years.

Again an away match ? We shall have to cope with the situation at this juncture of time when OC is packing his baggages for Bolton .
