Sky Mess Up the Fixtures Again

Sky Mess Up the Fixtures Again

There have been a number of changes to the matches scheduled to be played in December.

Our away visit to Molineux has been put back a day and we will now play Wolves on Sunday 20th December. The match will kick off at 1.30pm and be shown live on Sky Sports.

Sky Sports will also be covering our game at Fratton Park against Portsmouth on Saturday 5th December and this match will now kick off at 12.45pm.

Clarets fans are also reminded that the match against Arsenal at Turf Moor is now being played on Wednesday 16th December due to the Gunners now having a match on the previous Sunday.

Not a major issue for me as I am spending a weekend down in Poole with a mate - but that Portsmouth one will be a stumbling block for some I think. What time will the coaches be leaving Burnley for that one!

Oh b**s. Portsmouth change not too bad for me living in Twickenham but like Dale says a nightmare for those travelling down from Burnley on the day. Mixed feelings about Wolves. Saturday before Christmas was bad enough but train travel on a Sunday is usually a bit of a nightmare. Still, ticket and travel permitting, I suspect I'll be at both games.

Not intending to go to Wolves, so not affected by that one. The Pompey one makes for interesting reading...I'll have to try and get down there on the Friday, and cadge a night at someone's house..., maybe catch a non-league match afterwards, too. Anyone know of any clubs down near Pompeii?

Bashley is near Pompey Barnsey :-) Maybe not close enough though!

Barnsey. You'd be very welcome here in Lyme Regis, but it's a fair bit out of your way. Bashley isn't all that far from Portsmouth, but I suspect that getting there by half time is about the best you'd manage.
