Jay Rod Faces Scan on Injured Ankle.

As reported earlier Jay Rodriguez was injured in a reserve match last night against Hull City. He was stretchered-off at the Crown Ground in the second-half against the Tigers and now faces a scan on his injured ankle later today (Thursday 1st Oct)

It has been a grim last couple of weeks with both Chris McCann and Martin Paterson recently picking up injuries that will keep them sidelined for up to three months.

Owen Coyle speaking about the injury in a match where both Fernando Guerrero and Kevin McDonald picked up knocks said:

'Jay will have a scan on his ankle which didn't look great.Of the three of them he is probably the worst case scenario although we won't know until lunch time what the scan shows'
