Burnley X-Files: Ade joins Sven at County

ADE Akinbiyi is back in England and is set to sign for Sven-Goran Eriksson's League Two Notts County following his release from US side Houston Dynamo.

Akinbiyi, who enjoyed two spells at Turf Moor before leaving for Dynamo, has agreed terms on a contract at Meadow Lane and looks set to complete the free transfer on Monday.

The striker who has literally played for every club in the country, has wracked up transfer fees in excess of £11 million throughout his career, but Coutny looks like the last step as he aims to fire them up the league.

If I was a betting man Id bet on him returning to Turf Moor eventually to coach our young strikers as mentor. His effect on Jay Rod has by all accounts been immense and the lad learned a lot. I think sadly Ade's legs have gone now, but he might do summat for the League 2 side! Aye good luck, Ade
