Vital Burnley Prediction League 2009-10-August 2009 Update
Similar to the performances by the Clarets on the pitch, the Prediction League has also started off well! Some people seem to be using their head, whereas others are clearly totally dominated by their heart.
It could be an interesting battle to see which of these methods will be victorious come the end of the season.
Grimsby Claret is the early leader having achieved 100% from the Everton and Chelsea games to make up for the poor start (0 points from the opening 2 games). BigClaret is the closest challenger at this stage being just one point behind.
The early frontrunners are show below:
Please note all the other players currently have a score of 2 or below and a full table will be provided every 3 months. If you are not in the frontrunners table and want to know your exact score and position, please contact the site at any time.
About the Prediction League
Any new members are still welcome to enter and the Average Points per Game figure(Av. PPG) figure in the tables will allow you to see how you are doing in relation to those who have been predicting from the start.
Remember, to win a prize at the end of the season you have to have predicted at least 50% of our Premier League Fixtures. You get 3 points for the correct result and score, two points for correct result and goal difference but wrong score and one point for the correct result (win, draw, lose) but wrong score and wrong goal difference.
The winner at the end of 2009-10 will receive £50, the runner-up £25 with £10 for third place.
