Coach Trip to Ewood is a Must

Coach Trip to Ewood is a Must

The Clarets face their biggest and bitterest rivals, Blackburn Rovers at Ewood Park on Sunday 18th October 2009 (1pm Kick-Off) and already the two clubs have been thinking about arrangements for this clash.

Clearly with fans safety in mind, the club have announced that tickets for this game will only be sold together with tickets for coach travel with no independent travelling allowed.

There will certainly need to be a lot of coaches, Blackburn have allocated 3000 tickets for Clarets fans in the WEC Darwen End split between the upper and lower tiers.

Similar arrangements will be made for Rovers fans (2400 tickets allocated) for the return match at Turf Moor on Saturday 27th March next year.

Thought they might do something like this. looks like I am going to have to drive up to Mums and then get a coach over to Rovers. Assuming of course I can even get a ticket

I see you've chosen a picture of Ewood on a typical home game - stands completely empty and nothing worth watching on the pitch.

Thhink I should have titled the above in hindsight 'Deadwood Stage a Must' ;-) "Oh! The Deadwood Stage is a-rollin' on over the plains, With the curtains flappin' and the driver slappin' the reins. Beautiful sky! A wonderful day! Whip crack-away!, Whip crack-away!, Whip crack-away!"

Whip crack-away! Whip crack-away! Whip crack-away! And probably away goes the last possibility of me accepting the kind offer of a Blackburn family from the little town we live in to travel up together in their car. Darn it. Well at least it's on SKY.

Aye a right pain was thinking how you might make it now. I think I might now go up on Saturday stay overnight at Mums, then coach it to Blackburn I assume from Burnley somewhere. It's a 1pm KO too

I may yet come up with a cunning plan, tmp! I will be in touch, as arranged. Meanwhile just been reading about the Jimmy Mac book launch. Probably going to miss that too. I need to relocate!

Don't know anything about masochist websites, 8c8. But I would imagine everyone on Vital Burnley is looking for two strong ties and complete domination.

Can't we bring back Kevin Ball just for one game! Hahaha! It had to be like that with the coaches I guess. If they do it like Leeds v Millwall, you get issued a voucher when you buy your ticket. Then you get your actual ticket when you get on the coach. I'm guessing it will be 2000 points?

Not sure how to try and get a ticket, I guess I will just have to accept I have no hope of one. Roll on March 27th.
