Kay & Lynch Out on Loan to Chester

Clarets midfielder Adam Kay and defender, Chris Lynch have both joined Conference club Chester City on loan until January.

19 year old Kay is a second year professional but he has still to make his senior debut for the Clarets. He is no stranger to being out on loan having spent part of last season at Accrington Stanley down the road.

Lynch, 18 was only just recently given a professional contract having agreed terms with the club in the summer.

Manager Owen Coyle said:

'Both players have bright futures in the game and getting some first team experience in the Conference will serve them well.'

Only way forward for lads like this! You cant see them being blooded in the Prem without far more experience

It won't do Chester any harm either :-)

True! By the way it sounded like that game against Chester that was cancelled actually took place behind closed doors. I suspect that the Burnley X1 featured Kay and Lynch, hence their interest!

Where did you get that information from? I am not having that lol how did we miss that surely not!!!

Official Oldham website gave it away last month, they had a player who was on trial with Chester. "Oldhamathletic.co.uk can confirm that Athletic's Lewis Alessandra has joined Chester City on Trial. Alessandra stared for the non-league side in a Friendly against Premiership new boys Burnley yesterday, getting on the score sheet in the process" Must have been played behind closed doors due to Chester's registration problems

Did we win then? ;-)
