'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Survival the key for Caldwell (AUDIO)

Burnley's start to home life in the Premier League couldn't have been any more memorable as Robbie Blake secured a historic victory for the Clarets against Champions Manchester United.

On the morning after the night before, club captain Steven Caldwell reflected on the game and believes the team fully merited their victory, but believes the team's goals have not changed. Survival is the sole aim for Burnley this season and the Scotland international says the team have enough quality to show their worth.

With Scotland still disappointed at the loss to Norway, attention now moves on to their two remaining qualifiers. First up it's Macedonia on September 5th as George Burley's team aim to grab a play off place for the 2010 World Cup. The 28-year old says the match at Hampden Park is absolutely vital.
