Will Jordan be telling Andre to get on his Bikey?

Rumours were rife at Stoke and around Burnley over the weekend that Owen Coyle had already agreed a deal with Reading for defender, Andre Bikey.

Sky Sports News today reports that Andre Bikey has now passed a medical with Burnley this morning (Monday 17th August)and that the defender is close to a move to Turf Moor.

The local Reading Evening Post also believes the same.

In a rather interesting potential line up, could we be seeing both Jordan and Andre together as partners? No not Peter Andre and Katie Price(Thanks to Rickers Twickers for spotting the connection)

Well if we do, it will only be in Burnley's back four and Jordan may well find he is sidelined having to fight now both for a place at left back with Kalvenes and Easton competing with him for a start but also in the centre with Caldwell, Carlisle, Duff and now perhaps Bikey all ahead of him!

Mind you what an Editor's dream if Jordan and Andre play together!

I suppose if Jordan gets on the back of Bikey, it will be a case of 'Can you ride, tandem?'

Reading Evening Post (Tonight Mon 17th Aug):Andre Bikey will complete his £2.8 million transfer from Reading FC to Burnley on Tuesday. The Reading Post can exclusively confirm that the powerful Cameroonian defender completed a medical at Turf Moor on Monday after the two clubs agreed a fee. Director of football Nick Hammond told the Post late on Monday evening: “Andre has completed his medical today after we agreed a fee with Burnley for the player.”

Excited by this signing , think AB will become a cult hero at Turf Moor , big strong presense , quick and with his better years still to come , think the likes of Caldwell , Carlisle and Steve Davis will improve him as a player and a person , cant remember the last centre half with pace we had ! UTC!
Bernie Lee
Well done deal now and I am pretty sure the likes of Coyle & Co will be able to control his outbursts! Great player apart from that one flaw in his character. Aye pace in the centre of defence is somewhat of a novelty for us
