A New Vital Burnley Season & A New Look!

A New Vital Burnley Season & A New Look!

Welcome to the new look Vital Burnley!

The Vital network has been steadly re-launching all the footy sites over the Summer and what better date to launch ours than on the first day of our first ever season in the Premier League and our first in the top flight since 1976! Just a pity we didn't get any points at Stoke but ces't la vie!

The changes bring us up to speed with a more modern, state of the art design with far easier navigation plus a number of extra features which you will notice as you play around and get used to the new site.

You will find though that all the facilities you were used to will remain just in some cases enhanced with your life made easier.

Notice also the Virgin Media Premier League video embedded on the home page which will preview games and provide highlights.

Hope you also like our new banners which rotate on a random basis highlighting the causes we support and our various campaigns.

The more hits we get, the more money we can give Clarets Trust to buy shares in Burnley Football Club. We have raised £600 so far.

We have a great team here at Vital Burnley from the world of journalism, publishing, business and IT and you may have noticed some recent changes to our Site Journalist list. All the previous names up there though are still part of Vital Burnley and are working behind the scenes for the site. Some are taking a break for a bit and some we have decided to remove from the list because they technically don't write stuff for the site but do other things to help!

Yes, indeed a great time to be a part of the phenomenon that is Vital Burnley so come and join us and help build up our lively community.

Tell us here or in the forums what you think about our new look which so far seems to have been generally well received

Had a quick shufti when I got back from Stoke last night. Looks good - nice and fresh but all the old favourites still here. Navigation a touch quicker too.

Looking good i thought i might have navigation problems when it popped up 15 mins before kick-off but i had no problem apart from not being able to post on the front page which now looks to be resolved and now looking forward to previews and highlights via the Virgin Media Player good stuff :-)

Looks good tmp. Just got home from Britannia tonight (monday). Amazing amount of stuff to catch up with. Hoping to send you a review of WTBM 75 in next day or two! Or has anyone already done that?

A few little teething problems re formatting in the forums, but that will soon be sorted. The match results will soon be rectified and wont be timewarped back to 2008/9 and also we will get back our archived files for the previous couple of seasons or so.Watch this space! If anybody else notices any broken links or bugs let me know
