Chairman's Season Ticket Pledge-An Update

Burnley FC have now confirmed the free season ticket arrangements concerning the Chairman's Premier League Pledge.

Fans who bought a season ticket for the 2008/09 Championship season (Note: before August 9, 2008) are entitled to a free season ticket for the 2009/10 season

A letter will be posted out soon to all those fans eligible to take up this offer.

Full details of the refund options will be enclosed; including the option for supporters to use part of their refund to purchase a share in the club should they wish.

The completed form then needs to be returned in the stamp addressed envelope provided.

All the forms received will then be processed as soon as possible.

Will be interesting to see how many Season Ticket holders with less than 2000 Loyalty Points take up the option of becoming a shareholder. It could help them get away tickets a bit more easily

I think that the club has done as well as could be expected with this promotion, and the handling of it has no doubt had to be carefully planned. As I have a couple of shares already, and having 2 little kids, I'm afraid I will be using the £300+ to pay for my away days, as much as possible!

Can't argue with that. £40+ for Chelsea and similar for many other clubs ( plus travel ) means a pragmatic approach necessary for most Clarets I reckon.
