Clarets Trust 2nd Beer Festival

Clarets Trust 2nd Burnley Beer Festival

The Clarets Trust is holding its second Burnley Beer Festival this month in association with Burnley Football Club, The Burnley Express and the East Lancs. CAMRA organisation.

The festival will be hosted in the Foundation Bar, Turf Moor, Burnley over three days as follows:

Friday 28th April (Midday–11pm)
Saturday 29th April (11am –11pm)
Sunday 30th April (11 am – 11pm)

It is also hoped that Burnley FC Chairman, Barry Kilby will be present on the Friday at 7 pm pulling a pint!

The bar will also be open throughout the Burnley v Luton match on Sunday, the last match of the 2005-6 Season

There will be over 30 Real Ales from local and national brewers to choose from including a re-blended ‘Bob Lord’s Bitter’ provided by Moorhouses.

Some of the other breweries to be represented with their beers include Leatherbritches, Millstones, Copper Dragon, Bank Top, Southport, Luton Trust Bitter, and Leyden Forever Bury

A selection of ciders and bottled fruit wines will also be available. Live music and Sky Sports will also be provided and refreshments will be made available.

Clarets Trust would also like to thank Moorhouses for donating glasses (emblazoned with the Clarets Trust logo) for the event as well as re-blending Bob Lords Bitter and Copper Dragons for supplying the helpers with shirts!

If you wish to know more about this event or offer your help then please phone Meg Fawcett on 07944625912 or contact the Trust by email at events@claretstrust.co.uk
