Win a Copy of 'The Burnley FC Miscellany'

We reported recently that a new book has been published by Clarets author, the Reverend David Wiseman. Clarets fans may know the life-long Clarets fan from his other books on Burnley FC which include 'Up the Clarets', 'Vintage Claret' and 'A Case of Vintage Claret'

His latest work is a book entitled 'The Burnley FC Miscellany'

Burnley Football Club come from the smallest town ever to win the League Division One, and the F.A. Cup. Some big city clubs at present in the Premier League have won neither! This book is one which is mainly off the record where you can read some of the queer, quaint and quirky things that have been part of the past 125 years in Clarets history....

We are pleased to now announce that the publishers, Breedon Publishing have provided Vital Burnley with three copies of the book to give away free in our competitions this season, so watch out for those and enter if you fancy a go at winning this entertaining book which is a must read for all Clarets fans!

If you are unlucky in the competitions or dont want to be bothered playing, fear not because we will also soon be offering the book to our posters at discount prices.

We are prepared to offer posters on our website £2 off the retail price of £12.99, PLUS free UK p&p.

You could therefore be reading this book for just £10.99 delivered free to your house. We are currently setting up an ordering page in conjunction with the publishers so again watch this space!

If you are likely to be interested in these offers then please let us know below this article and we will contact you once we have further news and are ready to proceed.
