Easton Medical at Turf on Tuesday!

Hamilton Academicals defender Brian Easton is expected to complete a move to Burnley before the Clarets head off for their pre-season tour to the USA

The 21-year-old is due to have a medical on Tuesday after both clubs appear to have agreed a £300,000 transfer fee (which could rise to £700,000, depending on appearances)

Easton's agent, Willie McKay, says the Scot will prove a big hit in England.

'He is a strong, fast, 6ft 2in left-back and there's not many of them about,' Waston's agent, Willie McKay told BBC Scotland.

'He will probably travel down to Burnley on Monday and I would expect him to travel with Burnley to Los Angeles on Thursday'

I have a meeting down at the Turf Tuesday so I might have to pop about and see if I can spot him.

I wonder if he will go in straight ahead of Jordan and Kalvenes?

Maybe not, he is still quite young and inexperienced in Prem but who knows

Another Scottish player, Hope he is good enough, still we need a decent squad of players.
