Berisha Out on Loan Again?

Clarets striker and winger, Besart Berisha could secure another loan move this week.

He is understood to be having a three-day trial with German club Arminia Bielefeld.

If he does impress and signs he will be playing in the second tier of German football.Arminia Bielefeld were relegated last season from the Bundesliga.

The 23 year old Albania international has yet to make a first team debut for the Clarets.

He was signed from Hamburg two years ago for 340,000 but a cruel injury kept him out of the side in his first season. In fact he had snapped his cruciate ligament in his knee during an International game for Albania and would not return to football for a year.

He eventually became match fit but last season Owen Coyle could not find a role for him with both Eagles and Elliott ahead of him in the pecking order for a position out on the wing.

Berisha therefore found himself out on loan, first to Rosenborg and then AC Horsens.

It looks like once more Clarets fans will be denied seeing him play in Claret & Blue and his long term future at the club must now be seriously questioned although he does still have a year left on his contract at Turf Moor.

Poor Bes all this continental travelling must be doing his head in!

Not sure why they don't just sell him. Let him go and see what he can do. It's a shame like.

I agree skutter it is a shame these should be his best football years to be bounced from club to club can't be doing his self esteem any good!

Agree with you both on that! I cant see Bes ever playing for us at this rate and fail to understand why we don't just cash in
turfmanphil
Maybe they have tried?
8clarets8
Offically on trial now in their Austrian training camp until 18th July
turfmanphil
Sky now saying the German club might be willing to pay 500k for him if the trial is successful!!
turfmanphil
A good price if we can get that for him a profit even! good luck to the lad whatever happens
