Saturday's Rumour Mill-Easton Back On?

According to the Daily Mirror, Clarets gaffer Owen Coyle is about to beat his rivals after putting in a £600,000 bid for Hamilton's Scottish Under-21 defender Brian Easton.

The strange thing about this rumour is that we were previousy told we had put in a £1 million bid and failed to sign him.Dont you just love media gossip?

The 21 year old has expressed an interest in a move to the Premier League and yesterday it was reported that Wigan and Burnley could be in a fight to sign the player.

One player offered a trail by Owen Coyle then actually refused to even train for the Clarets after some pathetic excuse about insurance problems. The player now looks set to join either Stoke or Hull. So Fabrice Pancrate good riddance!

Will these clubs be daft enough to sign a player just on the basis of a medical? That's their problem but Owen Coyle was not going to be hoodwinked into doing that!
